March 18th 2017 was a blizzard of a day in Upstate New York. Following a week of school closings, and a state of emergency Saturday approached and it was time to get ready for the biggest day of my life.
I woke up in a hotel room with my Matron and Maid of Honor and started preparing for the wedding. I woke up to texts from those close to me wishing me best and prayers were felt throughout.
I actually was going to the chapel and was gonna get married!!
The wedding began and all that led up to it was just a blurr. I was in my dress, the aisle was set, and the altar was home to my handsome groom, waiting for me to come meet him and say "I do!"
The presence of the Lord was so strong throughout the ceremony. It was centered around God and He was there. The ceremony was very untraditional and I tailored it to what I felt needed to happen instead of others thoughts and opinions. Jesus blessed us on our day undoubtedly.
I am incredibly thankful for all of the help and support and love that was shown to me in preparation for our wedding day.
Lina you kept me sane through EVERYTHING thank you sista!
Emily if you're reading this, thank you so much for all the work you put into my shower!! I love you!
